Let it shine.
In essence, our growth is related to how well we can turn off the lights, dive into our deepest, darkest moments of aloneness, and share with everyone what we've discovered there as the light slowly begins to pour back in.

The two step process for enlightenment.
Step 1. Pay attention.
Step 2. Celebrate what you find.
These two steps can be used by anyone at anytime. Step 1 is necessary because you first must acknowledge that you exist :-) Once you are aware that you exist, the next step is to simply celebrate that which is right before you. If you are unable to celebrate the situation you find yourself in, then you are simply gazing at the surface. Peer more deeply. Look through the forms to that which gives rise to them: dancing energy.
Somewhere along the way we all learned about atoms and were told they are the boring, lifeless building blocks of existence. This view is now very dated. What science has known for almost a century is now finally catching on in our mainstream worldview: the atom, proton, neutron and electron are not the end of the line. They are simply expressions of a more subtle quality. When we look a little more deeply we see that all of life is made of buzzing energy, pure potential. In the microscopic realm matter flits in and out of existence. Matter is not the constant on which our universe is constructed. Rather, our experience is constant, and matter is constantly changing to fit our perceptions. This is the revelation of quantum physics. The building blocks of life are not lifeless, but are instead startlingly dynamic and responsive. These building blocks respond to our thoughts and beliefs. We all acknowledge, in passing, the mind-body connection. But if we stop to consider its implications we realize that we actually think ourselves into being, and we think into being all of our capabilities and ailments. We make real that to which we pay attention. The matter of Life is constantly rearranging itself to provide an expression of our latest thoughts about ourselves and Life.
All you see is alive, brimming with connection and the free flow of information. Your actions, beliefs, thoughts and emotions impact everything you experience. With wifi and bluetooth technology becoming ever more prevalent, is it so hard to understand that the rest of the universe functions this way too? You feel and are felt by everything in existence. All is aware of all.
Let's circle this back to our simple process for enlightnment. The first step, pay attention, asks you to acknowledge all that is occurring. The very electronic screen that you are reading this post from is feeling you looking at it. The whole world is aware of your presence. The things that surround you are not "dead and dumb", they are brilliantly alive compilations of subatomic, dancing threads of energy.
After reality is acknowledged for what it is, the only thing left to do is celebrate. Once the miracle is seen, all that is left is to rejoice. Once the magician has demonstrated his tricks, the only thing left to do is applaud.
When reality is seen for what it is, celebration, applause, laughter and joy are our natural reactions. If you do not feel like celebrating, look to see what you have missed....ask yourself if you have chosen to see life as boring, lifeless and disconnected. Then begin to see your body in a new way, not one built on solid matter and atoms, but one built on energy, pure potential. You are literally a being made up of aliveness! Every part of you is Life dancing itself into existence.
When we see synchronicities on the macroscopic level, it is easy for us to celebrate. We think, "wow! So amazing that all of these parts came together to create this experience." Realize that, on the microscopic level, this is occurring every instant to bring you each moment of existence!
Pay attention.
Celebrate what you find.
